I am very happy. Only 50 rows to go : DD
I just started the pipe. I’ll post photos when I’m about ten or so rows in.

I’m so close to finishing this blanket that I can taste it!
(It tastes like chicken)

Amazing Mario Wall Art

I stumbled across these photos by flickr user Guy_Smiley. He painted classic Super Mario Bros. designs all over his walls. I have to say, I am very impressed. The work really is impressive.

Progress Photos Set 4: October 2011

This is a picture of the big cloud once it was finished. I was soooo relieved to finish it. It looks scrunched up because of the way I threaded the yarn over the back, but I fixed it later on.

Introduction

I meant to start this blog to record the progress of the Super Mario blamket I am knitting. It is a picture of a classic Super Mario scene, NES style. I am making it for my brother, Zack, who plans on having an art gallery event somewhere in Louisville that will consist of classic video game art with as many mediums(media). More details on that when I know them.
I decided to make this bad-a blanket. I started making it around November 2010. It has definitely been a challenge. I’m not quite half done yet. It will be HUGE when it’s dpne. Like 5 feet by 4 feet or something like that.
I will add a post showing progress photos from the past. Then I will start adding current updates.
