Ask me questions!

Since I have finished my work of art, I will now be taking questions.

You can ask about anything. The blanket, knitting, inspiration, me, my pets(wink), my interests, and what not.
I like funny questions, too.

I’ll leave this open for a about three weeks. But if it goes four days with no activity, I’ll close it.

I’ll answer them in a video that I will post on youtube.
I’ll eventually type out the answers for those who know the suffering of HughesNet.

A creepy picture of me from last Christmas. Enjoy the nightmares.

I’ll pre-answer some questions:

Q: How long have you been knitting?
A: Since I was 14.

Q: How old are you?
A: 17

Q: Where do you live?
A: Southern Indiana.

Q: What grade are you in?
A: I’m a junior.

Q: Are you an alien?
A: Not as far as I know.

Ask away πŸ™‚

I’m done!

I finally finished it! Well…I finished knitting. I still have to fix the mistakes, iron it, and sew the back on.

Here are the pictures:

Finished goomba and bricks

The crazy back

Size comparison to me. I’m 5’1″ and the blanket covers all of me but my head. It’s 50 inches wide.
The expression on my face is really creepy, hahaha!

There it is! It’s pretty heavy. It weighs in at 1.2 pounds.

If you like it, please share it with your friends!

“The end of February”; About that…

I didn’t meet my goal. Today’s the last day of February, and I’ve still got seven rows to go 😦

I will be done by this weekend. I will make myself.

Here is a picture of my project at the end of the day:

(Almost) Finished!

I have EVERY thing done except the bricks on the bottom : DD
I have only 19 rows to go on the bricks… then I’m finished!

Here are some pictures:

I have some corrections to make on the pipe.

Full view! Size compared to my cat, Stinky, in the corner up there.

Progress Photos Set 5: November 2011

I was very satisfied to finally finish the small cloud. The project has gone three times faster since I finished them. I also turned 17 in this month πŸ˜€

Finally finished!

Introduction

I meant to start this blog to record the progress of the Super Mario blamket I am knitting. It is a picture of a classic Super Mario scene, NES style. I am making it for my brother, Zack, who plans on having an art gallery event somewhere in Louisville that will consist of classic video game art with as many mediums(media). More details on that when I know them.
I decided to make this bad-a blanket. I started making it around November 2010. It has definitely been a challenge. I’m not quite half done yet. It will be HUGE when it’s dpne. Like 5 feet by 4 feet or something like that.
I will add a post showing progress photos from the past. Then I will start adding current updates.

I hope you enjoy the journey with me πŸ™‚
